Zenith Energy has set up a wind mill of capacity 750 Kw in Kuruvikkananm village, Ramakkalmedu region, Idukki district, Kerala. The project is first commercially operated wind mill in the state of Kerala. The power generated is sold to the state utility by virtue of long term power purchase agreement.
The project is planned as a CDM project and is part of a bundle consisting of 13 machines of similar size. The plan is also to register it as a gold standard project. The bundled project has a potential to generate over 20000 emission reductions annually.
