Biomass Assessment Studies
Resource Assessment Study is a pre-requisite for setting up a biomass based power project. We assess and evaluate various types of biomass fuels, suitable for power generation, available within a defined radius from the proposed site. The information is collected through secondary source, which is followed by field visits to cross check the information and apply needed correction factors to arrive at the availability of biomass fuels.
Zenith has been one of the preferred agencies for conducting Biomass Resource Assessment Studies for the Nodal agencies as well as the private developers. It has carried out such studies in several states of India.
Socio Economic Surveys
Zenith Energy undertakes Socio Economic Surveys of the region (using sampling criterion), where the project is envisaged to be located. The main objective of the study is to ascertain how the proposed biomass power project would change the socio-economic well-being of the population residing in that region.
Feasibility Studies
The initial acceptance or rejection of a project is largely based on the feasibility study. Based on the feasibility study and the promoter's return criteria, we present the techno-commercial feasibility for the promoter to take a decision.
